Should I go with Ford (stock), Bosch, etc.? Any difference between any company vs. Ford? They're part of the 100k tune-up and I was planning on including them in the minor tune-up this coming weekend (have 80k miles). Are replacing O2 sensors even worth it/needed?

Are replacing O2 sensors even worth it/needed?Yes, as they get fouled with time/wear, O2's send vague values to the ECU, which gauges fuel/timing trim based on it's input. You will regain both performance and gas milage by updating and brand doesn't normally make a difference. IIRC, Bosch makes the OEM's, so whichever is cheapest between the two.

With the understanding that driving style may have more to do with this than mileage - any idea when may be a good time to look at replacing the 02 sensors? I'm at about 30k right now, and I'm thinking about gutting the precats, so while I'm down there...

Cool. The Bosch at the local CAP is ~$99. IIRC people here have said Ford ones sell for $70 each, so time to start calling around.

Slowtime, this part has a replacement interval of 100k miles, so if you're only at 30k miles, dont worry about it, they should still be like new. It would kinda be a waste of money for you to replace them right now.

Something to think about is that the Bosch O2's at a few places carry a Lifetime Warranty.

The average going price from a parts house for the Bosch is $65. (Advance & Autozone)

There is an online place you can get them for around $50 IIRC, but no warranty beyond the 90 day defect.
