If I were to have the 90 degree elbow and have my intake filter downward towards the lower part of the car (so the air could rush through) is it overkill to build a cold air box and have ram air going into it??
Thanks

I can tell you about them, you will have to pm him for pictures or details. He takes existing intakes....AEM, INJEN, etc. and makes a Cold air intake made out of Metal and the filter is relocated down near a foglight, kinda like the intake that used to exist I forget the name....I gave all i could, they look great in person.

It would take more than one 90 degree bend to get the intake to the lower part of the car. And yes I believe it would be over kill to put a cold air box on a cold air intake. Actually, I think it would defeat the purpose and be restrictive. Just make the CAI with out the box.

a CAI requires relocation of the battery and/or fusebox correct?
