Lately, a lot of people have been updating their profiles to change their email address to include "removable" letters. DO NOT DO THIS!!!

The messageboard is already set up to "mask" your email address to thwart spammers that may attempt to "mine" the site for valid email addresses. For example, if your true email address is abc@efg.com, the message board will display your email address as abc@REMOVEefg.com. Now, if you didn't know this and tried to add the "remove" yourself, a whole slew of problems occur.

1) When you change your email address, the messageboard logs you out and sends you a new temporary password to the "new" address. This is done for obvious reasons to discourage the use of fake email addresses.
2) When you enter a false email addresses, which abc@REMOVEefg.com is, the temp password is sent to an email address which doesn't exist.
3) You never get your temp password and are effectively locked out of your account.
4) You then have to send me an email, which I often times don't get to for weeks.

So, DO NOT attempt to "mask" your email address in your profile ... this is already done by the message board software.
