Turn Signal Bulb Question

Ok, that orange bulb is driving me crazy. I would change it if it was just the turn signal, but since it's on all the time with my parking lights if I change it to any other color I'm going to get pulled over. Could I just put a clear 3157 in and let it go? I'm not if everyone has the bulb on all the time with their parking lights, but I just can't deal with the amber going with my red light theme.

Just put a clear bulb in place of the amber. I put a cheapo blue APC bulb in there a while back and havnt had any problems with clear turn signals. I also removed the clear cover, which was a bad idea because the reflector made it brighter. I dont think clear bulbs matter because it looks like a headlight....well a very dim headlight. Color bulbs wouldnt fly to well.
