I just was hunting myself for one and found this at 1stfordparts (http://https://www.1stfordparts.com/partscat.html)
Fuel System, Fuel Induction, Intake, Intake Manifold, 2.5L, Upper, W/Svt Package, From 5/3/99 $370.16
So is that model the single honed one?

I believe from 5/3/99 was the dual honed one. I could be wrong though.
Edit: 93.00 smacks for an svt throttle body.

Just ran the part# this is what i came up with at the same site
MANF ASY-INTK List $717.88 your cost$525.49
Buit aren't the manifolds from 5/3/99 the dual honed ones? If they are that would mean they have 2 different prices for the same piece

Fixed Link. (http://www.1stfordparts.com/partscat.html) That's a good price, but I would call first and make sure.
POWERAGE, you ran the part # for what? The Upper SVT Intake?

The part number for the SVT dual honed UIM is 1S8Z-9424-AA - at least thats from the a post a long time ago I saved with part numbers for all the SVT parts. I paid around $100 for my SVT TB from fordpartsonline + another $70 or so for bracket, cable, and gaskets.

Why not just pick up the phone and call them? They'd know for sure. I can't speak about this company by FordPartsOnline is awesome. When ordering my svt stuff they were very helpful, about a week ago I needed to find a part on the car (lower splash guard under engine) and needed a part number for body shop. I called them up and within 5 min they gave me all the information.

I called, got voice mail. Didn't want to bother leaving message... hate messages.
And I priced everything out, it seems that it would cost about $550 for the entire setup, buying all the gaskets and junk from FordPartsOnline.com. What do you guys think? Is it worth it?
Okay, solved my own problem! I rock. If you go to 2000 Contour, you will be getting a 2000 SVT UIM. The 1998 ones specifically say to 5/3/99, while the 2000 are form 5/3/99. This mean they are the late production. Which is, go us, the DUAL HONED. Pre-5/3/99 are only SINGLE honed. So, for 370 bucks, you get a dual honed SVT UIM. Woot.

Not bad, better jump on it while you can, they seem to go fast.
Man if these are truely the dual honed ones I'm on it right this second!
I was saving to buy from customcougars.com

Okay! I placed my order and all, received a call back almost immediatly... and the price of $370 is wrong. It's actually $516.88, but something is wrong with their website. So, it's basically what all the other places charge.
They were nice people, and replied immediatly, so I would say using their site is good. But sadly, no SVT UIM for under $500 for us!
what kinda gains do usually get with this? Is it worth $550???

No, it's not ... one of the worst $ to hp ratio mods!
$550 for 3-5hp = $110/hp on it's best day! That is pathetic! You are better off optimzing the UIM/LIM and gasket matching to the heads as well ... with Dremel tool & attachments & set of gaskets, this will set you back about $150 at most and give similar if not better gains.

Help the ignorant, Trevor.
Explain what the heck you just said... layman terms.
