I have been seriously entertaining the idea of swapping my engine for the 3.0L. I will probabaly just rent out a storage space and work on it there or I may rent out a friend's home garage here in boulder. I'll prob have my roomie helping me with the swap but I was wondering if anybody would be willing to help...all the free beer you can drink. I am asking this for 2 reasons: 1.) I know this is going to be difficult and I know some of you know a helluva lot more than I do and I would appreciate any help at all. 2.) For those of you who haven't done an engine swap, this would be the definite time to learn.
I will be basing quite a bit of my decision to do this based on those who want to help me. Of course, nobody is obligated to help or anything, but I know that if one of the cougar guys were planning on swapping I'd be there!

I'd love to help and be hands and feet. I don't know too much about those type of things, but I'm always ready to learn. You set days and times and I'll be there whenever possible.

I will help if I have the time. I will be doing a hybrid in the fall so it would be good experience for me.

I'll be looking into a full 3.0L swap in the future, and I'd be gracious to get the learning time in. Keep me posted as to when you need me, I'll try to scavenge tools if need be.

Speaking of, Jake - do you still have my Dremmel?
