Is there anything specific I should do besides oil change / transmision fluid change to my MTX?

I would follow whatever the book says. I don't believe you need to change the tranny fluid in an MTX. Allthough it wouldn't hurt anything if you did. I would definatly do a coolent flush. I believe it's good for 100,000 miles But I don't trust any fluid to last that long. Do you spark plugs as well. Even though they supposedly can go 100,000 it'll be a ***** to get them out. Make sure you use anit-sieze when you put the new ones in.

things im doing for my 30k tuneup
New MTX fluid
Coolant flush
Cleaning/re oiling my K&N Aircharger
Replacing my EGR valve pressure sensor
Cleaning out my EGR valve
New NGK plugs
& have the shop look over everything and have them make sure all ball joints are lubed and bushings arent deteriorating.

OK, whats with this....everyones doing their 'whatever mile' maintinence at the same time.
Are tune-ups the male version of periods, since we all seem to be doing this at the same time?
Have we been around eachother too long, and have picked up on eachother's tune-up/maintinence schedule?

i drive way too much.. i did 6000 miles in 2 months...
30000 miles since igot my car with 6 miles on it in AUGUST!
good thingi got the extended warenty....
and yeah that is a pic of me while driving.. i lost about 10 miles an hour messin with the camera.. haha

almost at 50,000 miles and i've been doing nothing but oil changes every 3 months, and putting STP fuel injector cleaner in maybe every 8-10 fill-ups. No problems...yet...

well...mine is in getting new tires put on...oild change and tune up...at 29800 miles...so was doing a search for tranny flush info...found this thread...
so add one more to the 30000 mile maintenance group.....must be "that time"

Add in a fuel filter, throttle body cleaning and intake/exhaust cleaning and you got what I've been doing for the life of my car, hehe.

I hit 30k about a month ago, still gotta get maintenance done, so add me too! :tongue:
