no they wont.....
because the 98 contours injectors are return style......your 2000 cougar is most likely returnless style so the injectors wont work

wrong... they will work. however you need to splice the electrical connectors from the 98 also. 6 connectors, 12 wires, 12 soldering points. make sure to get positive and negative wires right and don't reverse them!

they will work, I have them on my cougar. Just follow Mcons instructions, they are 100% correct.

Get some out of the forsale section and sell yours you probably wouldn't lose any money and you wouldn't have to cut up the connections and worry about failer later on.

you will want to look for Green 19# injectors. they will swap right in

i was wrong, but i was looking from the "direct swappage" factor, im not all for that soldering, im afraid id melt the wrong wires together:tongue:
