I have the Clarion VMA-7191 lcd screen. I bought it off ebay and the guy never sent me the extension cable that goes with it. The only cable that is on the screen comes out the back and has a 8pin connector. This cable, can i splice it and attach my video lines to it and power?

please see the link below and it will take you to the site which shows the diagram that i am talking about. The diagram is on page 4.

thanks!

Go to Radio Shack or an alike store and get an 8 pin plug set and some ribbon wire, or look for an actual cable with the correct pins and cut and splice RCA wires to the ends, along with the power and grounds. I had made my own pin connection to run the headunit set up like we have goin. The type of pin style is a rectangle PC port , and I just soldered each wire together and plugged it all up- Just make damn sure the pins match up on each end, there is no room for mistakes when soldering the pins to the wire.
