Whats Best In-Dash DVD????

Ive searched but i havent found much of anything so i was hopeing someone could give some recomendations on some good Indash DVD players.

my best recommendation is to get one that is NOT a tray unit... if you try to relocate it you will have that to deal with (hitting shifter and so forth)... I'm sorta in that stage right now.. I am putting in a 6.8 LCD screen and a DVD player.. Both Audiobahn.. which will make me relocate my current MP3 HU leaving one too many items to go places... I believe I have it solved... but if it does not work out then I need to find another place for the DVD player.. regardless... it's going to be alot of fiberglassing..

Crispers... just mod your dash like I did and put your screen up there. That way your eyes are at the same level as the screen so you won't get a crink in your neck.

Eclipse makes an installer friendly unit which clears all the cougars dash B.S...dont remeber which one, but look into Eclipse.

I have the Eclipse Unit. Model numer 7002/7001 or the newer 5101, I believe. It clears the stick and AC controls no problem. You can also fit the 5962 In dash CD Changer if you cut the shifter. :biggrin: However, this is not a DVD reciever, but for 699 at tweeter you can buy a PS2 for the glove box and still be well under 1K.

best bet is the Sony 7inch Wide Screen and a PS2 in the glove box ;)
