Ok well with my motor going back in... I would like to setup a dyno day... preferebly before the Milan meet.

What I was thinking is renting the dyno for an entire day. I know brad could use more tuning, mconn may want to get more from his Apexi, Dave might want to squeeze a few more hp from his current setup, and the rest of you may just want to know what you are putting down.

By renting it the entire day we get a much better rate. And for costs what I would do is, say we get 8 hours for 800$ (using theses number for simplicity - full day should be much less than that). Brad needs 1.5 hours to fully tune so he would pay 150$... I need 3 hours to fully tune so i shell out 300$, mconn needs 1 hour so he shells out 100$... and so forth. So you pay for what you used.

I know a few dyno shops in the area do exists that do EEC-V programming. Although most shops usually prefer, to modify a piggy back chip, I will get all info on custom programming before selecting a shop, to ensure they can not only provide us with HP numbers but modify the programs for maximum throughput.

If interested reply here... if you know of a good dyno shop with wideband 02 sensor and can perform custom programming let me know also.

Well we are shooting for May 3 for an all day event as you read on the CEG Puck. It's going to be $500 for the entire day. The place is called VT Competition in Lansing. Chose it since they are a centrally located place. We have west and east siders that want to dyno. I'm going to need more people for sure. I'm not sure if they do tuning as well. Our goal is to get 2 runs in to see what we are putting down. It will run about $35-40 per car. This the cheapest you will find I promise. I called everywhere. Their might be time for another run at the end of the day.

like i mentioned on CEG... price isn't my first concern... tuning is... and i would be willing to pay more for thoses services....

if something can be arranged that we can get some kind of "on the spot" tuning that would be awesome... as right now, my only other option is to drive to Arizona :(.... what about Detroit Speedworks.... don't they do custom on the spot tuning?

Found a shop... The shop will custom tune your existing Ford EEC-V chip. To just about anything you need to make it work to it's highest potential. They use Roush/FordChip tuners to tune your chip on the dyno. The cost is 400$ for NA and 450$ for FI cars. That includes chip tuning and dyno time. 400$ may sound like alot of money but if you figure in I don't need to buy a piggy back chip for 200$ I'm actually saving some money going this route and best part is I'll have a tuned chip that can still "learn" because it will be completely EEC-V code :)
