I've been wanting to put my rims on for the past few weeks. Every time I get a chance and say to someone "I think I'll put my rims on today, or this weekend." it snows. I just get done talking to Ron and told him I was putting my rims on....look outside soon after, it's f'n snowing. News said we wouldn't get any, it would be rain they said. But NOOOOO, we have about 2 inches now and it's going strong...

Not only is it going strong but we're in the path for the heavy stuff. We're expecting about 6"-9", according to the weather this morning, by evening. Not to mention that it's not just snow, it's a lovely mix of snow and ice.
I was just reading on Boston.com that the State Police have closed part of 95-S due to a 75-100 car pile up and there is a 15 car pile-up by the Mechanic Street exit off 95 North. Also there is a 15 car pile-up on 24, in Raynham, by the 495 exit and 2 trucks have jack-knifed on route 3. Enjoy the commute home for those of you on the South Shore.

Yea I'd say we have close to 5" now since I first posted. And it's going strong too.

I was just watching the news about these pile-ups. They say the snow caught people "off-guard".
Comeon people, it's not like the snow just fell out of the sky in one big 5" sheet, suddenly covering everything. And for Christ's sake, your a New Englander, snowing in May shouldn't catch you "off-guard"!

No kidding. Why is it that there are pile ups all over the place with this storm and there weren't 50-car accidents during the last storm when we got 2 feet?

So John, this is your fault, nice going buddy......:slap:J/K Anyways...haha.... I get what you guys are saying. How in the hell do you get caught off guard when they have been forcasting it for days? 'Uh duh, it's snowing out so I'll do 90 instead of slowing down, then cut off a few cars and cause a huge pile up.' It takes one careless @sshole with that thought process to cause alot of crap.
Let's all keep our fingers crossed that this is the last #$@$^$&*%* snowfall we see until next winter.

Yeah, It definately seemed like everyone all of the sudden forgot it was winter and how to drive in snow. Of course stupid me didn't think we were actually gonna get snow this week, so I never emtied the sh*t outta the truck. So I got stuck driving the cougar, which isn't a problem in itself, except for every A-hole in the area on the roads. Damn people! Well, she is home safely now. no worse for the wear.

i slid down a hill and almost didnt stop...ugh all i was thinking about was NOT my weel being nut "oh please don't hit my girl" luckily i caught some dry spots towards the bottom and managed to stop the car. yea people do drive bad. its like stop signs and red lights dont exist in the snow. we ended up getting about 7-8 inches. time to shovel...again
