If it werent for NECO I probably wouldnt have even known there was anything aftermarket made for cougars. There have been plenty of pictures of cougars who people say they dont know from here, and im just wondering, ...Can you like, go to autozone and have them order you a body kit or something? hm... I guess sport compact magazines would act as sort of a catalog too. I value NECO highly for the information ive learned and the ppl ive met... Its the first kind of thing I went looking for when doing research on Cougars way before I ever bought mine. I joined in January last year and got my cougar in July! I guess it just surprises me to see aftermarket work on a Cougar and then to hear that person probly hasnt even heard of Neco.

I've bought all my stuff online. Simple things like belts, brakes, lights & such I get at a local store.

I've wondered the same thing.
My theory is that they're part of other car enthusiast groups, either online or elsewhere and they get hookups through that.
Like some of them may hang out with the civic crowd and get their mods through similar vendors as their civic friends.

it might just be my thing but I use my own company to shop from.
I use my car as a test subject every now and then and I also get the chance to do one off's or beta test stuff.

Neil, actually we have a shop around here called House of Wheels. Their catalog has alot for Cougars. For example: bodykits, intakes, exhausts, interior...actually darn near anything. I think if you go to any speedshop they'll be able to find aftermarket parts for Cougars, it just takes a little more research. Just venturing a guess as to how non- Neco folk find mods.:)
