Well I've heard some bad news. The server for the Squawk Box (activetopic.com) is gone for good. I've been doing some research etc and I think I can get it back up and running, but it may be a while. Of course I would pic a service that goes down a month after I sign us up for it :( . Hopefully the solution isn't too hard.
UPDATE: for now I will go back to our old Squawk Box, but at least we will have a backup. I will continue to work on the new one and if I get it where I like it I may switch over to it.

Well good news. By nights end our new Squawk Box will be up. It wont be quite as nice as before, but it will be functional and maybe nice will come later with new coding/etc.

The new Squawk Box is up and running. Maybe not quite as pretty as the old, but functional. I'll be editing the code to make it nicer looking and more functional. For now I just wanted to get it up and running.

One more update, the info I received about the server was false. The people that run activetopic (our host for Squawk Box) had to switch servers as they were told the old server could no longer serve them and were given notice. However the server took down the site before the amt of time given so they had to scramble to get a new server (they bought their own). So at this point I dont know whether I should go back to the old or stay with the new.
