Ok, all my roomies are setup, but I think this will be helpful for others.

If you need a roomie or roomies post up. Try and get the 4 ppl to a room so you aren't paying out the arse. Basically state how many you currently have and how many ppl you need. Hope this helps some ppl go now!

i havent decided if im going or not yet. i want to - but i dont know what shape the cougar is going to be in (meaning shop or drivable).

id like to go either way - and have NO roomates planned. just need to figure out how much $$ im going to have to save up.

I dunno if I need a roomie or not.....two girls from work MIGHT be coming just so they can go to the beach and swim in the ocean, but one might be going to Serbia for a month so I dunno....(I really didn't feel like driving 10+ hours on my own, so I threw out the offer.) but if it falls through I'd be in for a roomie.

EDIT: Jenna....if they end up not coming and you decide at the last minute you wanna go...I'll keep it in the back of my mind to let you know.

yeah see thats one of my things too -- i dont want to drive that far by myself either -- caravan or not... im just afraid ill get tired - i do now as it is on only 4 hour trips - i can imagine trying an 8 hour trip

I wouldnt mind having 5 in the room - just think of how cheap it would cost -- 2 double beds -- im sure there is a couch, chair, floor -- or 3 in one bed!!

No I'm divorced. I was going to take kids, but then they have a school tuition bill due in July for $1400 so I don't think I could afford to bring them after all. I 'd like to to still try if I can, but it doesn't look likely. I will probably be still able to go if I room with somepeople and seriously watch what I spend.

There's a chance that myself and a couple others may need a floor to crash on Friday and Saturday night...We called the hotel tonight, and she said they've OVERbooked the rooms for friday and saturday so we have no chance of getting a room...we'll be OK for thursday, sunday and monday nights, but friday and saturday we're screwed right now...we'll sleep on the floor, pay our share, and all that jazz...

Well, i have a room and I believe Rick and Heather will be crashing in my room. I also have half a bed if anyone needs a hotel room and there is always the floor. Bring a pillow or a sleeping bag and you can crash on the floor w/out a problem! I will not turn a cougar buddy away! (especially if you are a cute male, nice, has a job cougar buddy! :))

Thanks for the offer Heather. Unfortunately my plans changed at the last min and I cannot attend this year. Thanks to a screwed up exhaust system (due to the lowered ride height and a steel plate at home depot) and the IRS the funds are no longer there to cover the trip.
