Avoid getting a BS 'speeding' ticket in Santa Cruz.

1. When you pull over, put the car in park, lift the parking brake, shut off the engine, roll down the window and put both hands on the steering wheel.
2. Greet the officer. "Afternoon officer!" with a smile on your face.
3. Listen to officer attempt to BS. "Well son.. I clocked you going 65.. and this is a 25 zone, you know that?"
4. Reply with a shocked expression since you know you didn't hit more than 32-33. "I was?? Wow, I didn't know that.."
5. Watch officer grin toothily at you and nod. "Yeah."
6. Ask officer, "May I ask how you clocked me?"
7. Listen to officer reply, "Uh, radar."
8. Ask officer, "Can I see the radar gun and calibration log?"
9. Watch officer stare at you, put his sunglasses back on, and say, "Consider this a verbal warning today. Must be your lucky day. Drive safe."

I saw the cop go by, I was SOOOOO LUCKY. I was about to floor it to catch up and I see him jet out. you guys mean i missed all the fun afterwards, lol lol ? me and my GF got lost, then after 1/2 hr of driving around we decided to go get somethin to eat, and left for Modesto around 5:00 or so,
BTW it was a pleasure meeting all you guys, one small favor, does anyone happen to have a pic of all the members along with the respective names/nicks, i just happen to have no long term memory, lol lol

Would any of you guys be interested in a mod meet, even though i'm out here in the valley (San Joaquin valley, look up Crows Landing in Yahoo maps) :beer:
