Well with my monthy insurance of 200 bucks I have to say goodbye to Candy. I have gotten 2 tickets and my insurance company is raising my rates. I got pulled over 5 times in febuary.
I have a guy in Wayne, NE looking at her for 12,500 with all mods. She will be gone in weeks. I will miss her alot. The sound of my rumbling exhaust the looks of her in store windows. People asking me what kinda car that is...o man... :cry::cry: But it's my own fault she has to go.
Now some people have expressed their hatered for the car I'm buying but o well. With the extra money I make off the sale of candy i will already have intake/exhaust and bodykit for my new car plus headers are only 340 not 700 like for the cougar. I will still be attending the Team NECO meet in may. But in my new car.......... A 2003 ZX3 focus 5 speed sporting intake/exhaust, EVO body Kit and Hella headlights and tailights with ebach ground control with a 1-4inch drop. Things for this car are so cheap it's CRAZY!!!! I'll be ordering it new off of fords website in either silver or black. I drove one yesterday. Not to bad at all but needs my help ;) .

oooh helllyaa.. a few months back when i was about to trade off my coug, i pretty much had it narrowed down to a ZX3, or a Vibe.. im still thinking I might have to pick up a ZX3 late this year. (god i love supplier discounts) :)

this is truely a sad day. Will the guy that is buying be willing to join NECO? i know there are a few cougs in wayne i have seen a few heading that direction i assumed students at wayne state. but i haven't had a chance to go "hunting" in wayne yet.

Yeah you can have that...but all other mods are going with the car.
I pulled the sunroof tonight Tim.. THAT WAS A PAIN IN THE ASS! I had to break the traking more to get it to go back down. It was so messed up. O well. :(

Hows the insurance on the zx2?? I was amased when I got the Cougar that it was only $10 more per period than my 98 Cavalier z24. And actually 200 amonth for that many tickets ins't bad. When I was 20 and first living on my own I was at about $180 with a clean record. But that was also in St. Louis. When I got to Des Moines it dropped to about $130. It was down to less than $100 a month but then I bought the beater so it's back to $130. age has it's advantages.

Well 200 is with my clean record. It going to go up to 230 - 240 sure it's not much but I'm already giving up doing things with abby just to keep Candy. I can't live or have fun so she has to go.. not abby.. but Candy has to go.
The ZX3 will be cool anyway. I can do tons of things to it and abby said I can do everything but a trubo since parts are a ton cheaper. I'm calling my insurance guy today for a qoute on a ZX3 but I'm sure it has to be cheaper than what I'm paying now. They are screing me cause I have a v6 sports car.

actually I was told since the Cougar is not considered a sports car, (my cavalier was considered a "sporty" car cause of the Z28 status:rolleyes: ) that's why my insurance didn't change much. But since the Cougar has no desigations (ex, LS, EX, GT, etc.) it's just considered a mid-compact car
who are you currently with? Maybe you should shop around first. I'm with progressive but I've been hearing they are jacking up their rates for everyone so I might change also. Even though I dispise State Farm with a passion they always seem to be the cheapest......

Yeah that evo kit rocks! I'm ganna order one right away with the money I have left over from the sale of my cougar. I have a feeling this guy will want 20k or more for that foci. :(
