Parts for the new centrifugal-motor-damper are now out for anodizing. So in two weeks I should have it on the car. I have been happy with the current light weight, underdrive pulley I have been testing; so the cmd should be just the ticket. Sigh, I'll need to run a higher octane gas to fully take advantage of the upgrades. High-end performance is great. I have surprised a number of people, including a Ferrari on the San Diego freeway....
I have the ST200 rear strut brace installed now..but need to find a good material to use to upholster the trunk floor. ANY suggestions would be appreciated.. What about a hard material to bridge the spare hole??
BTW, the rigidity added to the body is amazing.. removed miscellaneous squeaks and improved corning.. http://www.fastcougar.com/forums/attachments/FlatFrogGif.gif

Do you want me to try and install the stock carpeting around the bar? Cause I very well could do it ;)
Also, are you having those other parts made, or where did ya get em?

If you'd take a look at the carpeting problem with the St200 bar I'd appreciate it.. I'm afraid I don't see how you can work the stock floor mating work with it.. but then I don't know anything about upholstering?? So, is there some time coming up when we can get together and you can take a look ?? ..
On the CMD: I'm working with a company that is building the assemble for me. It will look similar to the DMD, being about 1" wider than the stock unit.. you have to put the centrifugal unit somewhere .. All the duratec units will be anodized silver.. I couldn't talk them into yellow..

¿Price?
And next weekend should work out for me to meet up with you to take a look at the carpeting:) Unfortunately I have classes all week long, and my brother's coming this weekend, or I could do it sooner

Let me know, since I'll be unemployed I'll have nothing to do but clean the house, pack stuff, and work on cars. :)
Dev knows what he's doing with carpet. He's the carpet-chopping masta. ;)
If you want a hard board material to foot the bottom, use 1/16 or 1/8th hard fiberboard like they use right now.. Also, full replacement trunk carpet (in case you need/want one) is about 200-something bucks from FordPartsOnline.

Its pronounced Mast-AH... and it works on sooo many levels :naughty:
On a serious note, I still need to do Tyrice's, so maybe he could meet up with us wherever we decide to go, and we could make it a mini mod meet:)

What did you do that requires high octane gas?

We could have a mini-meet in front of a carpet store .. Mike, $200+ for the stock stuff?? I'm glad I decided not to hack on it myself. I'll hold off until the King of Carpet Munchers has a look at it.. I can meet any evening, after 4:30?, next week, if anyone wants to get together and critique the situation..

When I went to the lighter underdrive pulley (and decreased the plug gap), it changed what the compuer thinks is the point of ignition, or changed the actual ignition point in the firing timing (I don't know)??. I have to talk to my engine man a little more about his take on the change.. Anyway I get a single "missfire" CEL on a fill-up of regular gas, but have no trouble with the next grade up.. I need to pigen-hole my engine man and get his thoughts on it.. Untill then its regular+1 at the pump..
