Does it show an error code? First thing I would try is to disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect it and see if it works. Otherwise, if you're still under warranty, take it to the dealer.

EDIT: or like Zalec said, consider it time to buy a cool aftermarket deck.:)

Nah, the same thing happened on my dad's vette. He went to the dealer and the price to get it replaced was so obnoxious...it was something like 600-700 bucks, IIRC. Then again, that's Bose and 'Vettes for ya', but still - get an aftermarket deck. If you don't have to have top-of-the-line everything, you can find some amazing closeout deals on last year's models, etc. You just gotta shop around a bit.

Dealer stuff is outrageous. An OEM deck for the Saturn was also $600. I bought one off e-Bay for $148.

i had this problem with my aftermarket deck in my old truck, then again with the changer i had in there. you may have to take the thing apart and remove it manually if you want you cd back. but i would also suggest the same thing as every one else had told you to do and go buy a new deck from bestbuy or somewhere.

There have been a number of stock radio units in For Sale recently for under 50 bucks... if you are looking for a replacement, then that's the place to start

Go to a car audio shop and ask if they have some DIN tools to buy or use. For buying they should be like 2 bucks.

Pretty much they slide into the four holes (two U shaped pieces) until they click or you can't push anymore and you pull out and back.
Stock CD player is out.
Now disconnect all the wires and reconnect them all.
Push deck back in and it works again.
If not, buy aftermarket deck for 100-3000 dollars depending on your needs/wants.
Tools for installing that are antenna adapter, wiring harness and mounting kit (unless you get a double-din unit or plan on molding your own.
