ok to get pulled over, doesnt the cop have to have thier lights on or atleast there parkign lights? tonight i was doin 20 over and if it wasnt for my radar i would have gotten cought. he was sittin under a bridge on 94 and u could hardly see him. 2 weeks ago a friend of mine got stopped at night and ticketed, and hte cop didnt have his lights on... correct me if im wrong but i thought they couldnt do that :confused:

i don't knwo fi that law was ever in here in michigan... but i have seen many cops sitting around wiht no lights on taging people so i would assume that it isn't illegal or they would have alot of droped tickets in court.

Bottom line.... In court the cops word is taken over yours alone EVERY time. So.... if he SAYS his lights were on....

Cops can pull you over regardless of lights. A lot of cops don't use their lights these days due to the number of drunks that steer toward the bright lights. Many cops have died because of that.
