i have a slight problem...i was redoing my wiring today for my amp, and when i reconnected everything, i got no power. i doubled up and checked all the wiring at the amp, and nothing was out of place or gettin' a bad connection. the fuse is still good, and all the wires are run correctly. what could be the problem?? i also checked the battery terminal and it's good. any help would be appreciated.

either one of 2 problems
your power wire fuse is roasted.
your amp is not getting remote power. (12v)

my inline fuse may be toasted, if only i could find it i would/could replace it....and my remote wiring is fine at the amp. do i need to pull the whole headunit out and check the connection there too. the thing is, when i disconnected, everything was good, then when i reconnected...no power.
just use a voltmeter or a test light at the amp, for both remote lead and power, and you should be able to find your problem

You said you re-wired it possibly double check your grounded properly thats a popular reason for no power. Just another possiblity.

after talking to you on the phone we determined the problem was due to the AMP being ran at 2OHMS while bridged. running 2 4ohm subs.
The Amp was shutting off to protect itself due to instabiliy of 2ohms while bridged.
You will need to run each sub of its own channel from your 2 channel amp and you'll be fine.

kenny, i thought that that was the problem, but come to find out why it was cuttin' out b4....the input wire wasn't making a good connection all the time. so i tightened the harness on the inputs. that solved the problem. but i just ran the relay from the power to the remote and everything's cool now. so the speaker to amp hookup is fine....it was the input wires. thanks for the help.
