I guess in our excitement over cougarfest this year thats been the recent topic of conversation...
but coming up much earlier: the morana v6 ford challenge (http://members.rogers.com/v6power/) and the can-am cruise (http://www.geocities.com/canamcruise/) on back to back days, Saturday and Sunday May 24-25.
i am already registered for both...
who else is coming out... need to have a big mc-neco showout and get down to some serious racing :)

Should be a sweet week for me though...got the Kitty convention May 15/16/17, then the following weekend the track and Can Am
And I wanna say Brad is coming aswell........

Brad has had all year to take deep breaths and talk himself into crossing the mighty border... he just might be able to work up the courage if he keeps practicing in the mirror!
I'm going to Can Am... obviously....

Brad's problem is when he gets to the border he says the forbidden words "I don't know" or "I'm not sure"... once a customs official hears thoses words.... secondary inspection you go...
just remember to never seem unsure of yourself and you should be good to go...
So everyone knows, here is some important information regarding the cruise weekend.
Morana V6 Ford Challenge (http://www.v6ford.net)
Yes this race will cost money, but you get track time and a shot at some prize money if you're fast enough. There will also be a show n' shine for those that do not wish to race.
Racing Costs: $40 USD/$60 CDN
Show n' Shine Costs: $14 USD/$20 CDN
Attendance Costs: About $6 USD/$10 CDN
From what I understand, if you plan on racing and showing, you only have to pay for the racing costs, not both. Everyone is urged to pre-register for the race if you plan on coming, it will be cheaper than showing up at the gate. Pre-Registration deadline for the V6 Challenge is May 1st. There is no cut-off date for Can-Am Cruise.
Hotel
We have a hotel, but it is a little on the expensive side if you're staying alone, so cram together in that room!
Ameri-Cana Resort (http://www.americananiagara.com/)
Book for May 24th, that would be for Saturday evening. The plan would be to come back from the V6 races in London and stay in Niagara Falls for the evening taking in the sights.
Can-Am Cruise (http://www.geocities.com/canamcruise)
Can-Am Cruise will take place on Sunday around the Niagara Falls area. This is free although we may ask that you help out by bringing some food or drinks for the BBQ. For more information see the website.

why do they need boarder patrole anyone... between us and canada come on.... no one is going to try to steal canada if we had less boarder patrole... though they would probably still strip search brad just because he looked at the guy funny

Hey Josh....considering you're staying at my house Friday.....I'm pretty sure I'm giong to be there :) As for Staying at the hotel....I have a girlfriend not far away....I have the option of staying at her place or driving home (like I did last year)

I'm not registered at the hotel (and won't) but I'm very likely to be at the Can-Am Cruise. I'll just drive from Windsor Sunday morning.
As for the V6 Morana Challenge, I'll have to decide few days before hand, assuming they will accept non-registered people.

ya you can signup for the v6 challenge on the day of, so if you can make it come out
