well when i was driving around with my friend last night some guy in a big ass jeep decided that he was going to run me off the road. I hit a bridge at like 40 and it toatled the cat. i will post pictures. i think i am just going to pay off the loan and then i will just bust out the 89 integra untill i get out of highschool

Damn that sucks...sorry to hear about that. At least you're okay. Yeah, trust me - if you're going to college you don't want to have the burden of a fat car payment on your back. Working during college isn't that bad, but it's nice not to "have" to if you don't want to.

Well i was talking to my friend that is in the autobody field and he said that it most likely wont get totaled because of the fact that the airbags didn't go off and because the frame isn't bent so i might not have to bust out the integra so i will just cross my fingers

Hitting a bridge at 40 cannot be good... I don't see how it would not be totaled. And what about the guy? If it was his fault, wouldn't his insurance cover it?

if they dont total it you SOOOO should use that money to get a Full Body kit installed, Z3, Cf hood. the works! (aftermartket parts are cheaper than OEM parts!!) Heck you could probably do the Wide Body kit.

I can't say that I wouldn't do exactly that, but if he's still in high school and has college and a whole life ahead of him, if he's smart, he should soooooooo put some of that money in savings - *especially* if he's already got another car. Having a couple grand in the bank when I got outta college could have really taken a lot of stress off my shoulders while I was looking for a job.
If it was someone else's fault, wouldn't his insurance pay for your car 100%? That's what happened with me, when the fron end got taken off my older TA, they tried to total it, but my insurance made them flip over 5k in damage for the bill

yeah exactly the insurance company will be forking it out.
