Who is going to Indy Fest?

Since the cougar meet yesterday, I realized a lot of cute IL NECO buds are planning on going to Indy Fest. I will be calling in sick (shhhh! :tongue: ) and going!

So.. who wants to leave Thursday night? Or very early Friday morning? I would like to leave Thursday... because that is one more day of partying!

What do you guys think?

I will be there Thursday as well... most likely as early as I possibly can go... Kyle and I have alot of stuff to do.. and we need to come up with a way to rope off part of the lot with those speed bumps (do not worry people.. I have ya covered on this)

Reagan... let me know if there is anything I can do to convince you to come... it's going to be a great event.. you WILL learn something in addition to getting drunk.. as a slight teaser I can say that there will be several widebody Cougars there, a Cougar pushing 450-500 hp to the wheels.. AND many important vendor representatives that are flying in special for the event.. :biggrin:

I actually had a dream about going last night.. I dreamt that I got there, and all the cars there were Supra's..

I guess that's cuz I was reading the boards, and then I Went and read my SCC magazine and read about the Supra Convention in Vegas..

I take back my vote of "I'm not going" to Caravan of Friday Morning.

I can go... I didn't quite realize it would be more like $50 / person if 4 were in the room...

I vote for a Friday morning meet because I'm quickly running out of Vacation time for the year (Honeymoon, CougarFest, Kitty Konvention, and Vegas), so I only want to take one day off of work. I have no problems waking up at the crack of dawn Friday morning and making it to Indy by 9 or 10 am.

I'm looking forward to this. :)

There are approximately 30 rooms left for the weekend... this is a discounted rate from the normal 140-160 for the peak graduation season.. so if you have no booked a room and need to please do it soon, otherwise you could be SOL and forced to pay regular prices...

But you only work until 5 PM on Thursday!! Can't we go on Thursday night and then party when we get there. If we leave at 7 PM we will be down there by 10 PM and that is PLENTY of time to party and sleep it off the next day! :biggrin:

I have to contact the woman that James got the discounted price thru for the event... so what I need from everyone is a ballpark idea of how many additional rooms we need for Thursday... so let me know and I will see waht I can do... hell if I will be paying 140 for that night.. otherwise I will get a room and we will all be sardines... hehe

And again, don't worry about driving alone. If you go Friday morning, you are more than welcome to caravan with me, and who ever else goes Fri morning too, on the way down.

Anyone can crash in my hotel room. I could use some roomies at the moment.. but I like girl roomies. But I guess I will take boy roomies since this is a CAR EVENT and usually the ratio of guys to girls is like 30 to 1. :) And only cute and nice guys are allowed to share my bed! :)
