Alright!!! I got in my car Friday morning, wouldn't start... had it towed out to the dealer, they sat there for 30min trying to start it and it got going they're like 'here it's just the car flooding itself, we get that problem alot, we call it 'winter blend'...' So now... even though it is WARMER out than those 3 degree days, it's flooded intself every morning and night since Friday... and my CPU says my gas mileage is decent... it it's actually seeming to suck, maybe that's just me though. :)

I don't think flooding of the engine by itself for no reason is a problem I should have to put up with every day... I shouldn't have to floor the gas then turn it on... any suggestions? Is this a fuel pump dying on me or something?

:)

Thx... my car's seriously a lemon, but I love it. dv6cougar knows it blows... everything breaks non-stop. :)

Go back to your stock intake system, change your fuel filter, and see if it makes a difference.

Stock Intake?! :( I'll floor the car and start it... plus, K+N drop in filter doesn't hurt anything.

Try ditching the tornado air thing and see if it starts. You may be restricting air flow into the engine on cold starts => flooding the engine cause it lacking air.

the tornado intake thingie is not going restrict airflow nor will the K&N filter cause a problem in anyway. The MAF has a huge ass 2/3 inch post in the middle of the intake tract!!

dont hit the gas prior to turning the key. Dont Rev right before turning the car off. Make sure your themostate isnt going bad.

A fuel injected car shouldn't flood.... at least not nearly as easily as a carbeurated one.
