Hi everyone, I just moved to Jacksonville about a week ago. Previous member of Tidewater NECO. I see a lot of you live South like Tampa and Orlando. Yeah, see a lot of stock cougars around here, but if you see a modded Rio Red Cougar with the www.tidewaterneco.com sticker still on the back (haven't taken it off) that's me!! Gimme a honk. What's the deal down here anyways and what's towers all about?

Welcome to FL NECO Michelle...
Were you at Fest last year? I know i met a couple people from Tidewater, but cant remember anyone besides FordMan and his girlfriend (wife?).
hope you enjoy the warmer weather and maybe make it to orlando for one of the bigger meets. Try getting in touch with BadinBlack and Teacherinacougar up there. they seem to be the most active members from that area.

The "towers" is where the south members meet (miami area I think). Welcome to FL, maybe if some of us get up to Daytona for SBN we can meet up with ya. BTW......Change your sig :biggrin:

Is there anyone who lives by me? I just see a bunch of stock cougars and ghetto eclpises up here. Although when I pass a stock cougar, they always look at mine. Like to see a hooked up cougar!

Im the ONLY modified cougar in my entire area...
im in mandarin and Orange park in jax.....
id like to meet up with another cougar member at least once in my life....

you should both visit flneco.com and print up some flyers to put on the cougars in your area :) I'm going to get around to it too, I see at least 3 cougars a day here and a couple at my job.

agreed...i was doing the same out here by me for a long time...i think i have hti all the local ones i see a lot...i always have fliers in my car.

Yeah, but around here, there are no worthy cougars. All I see is stock, stock, stock, with older people in them that you just know don't care about fixing their cougar up. Ya know?

Welcome Michelle, check out flneco.com (http://www.flneco.com), there's at least 10 other members in the Jax area. Plus the Gainesville crew may be up for a little meet sometime.

fordman is troy, and that was his girlfriend but now wife :) ...i think i met you too but not sure...met wayyy too many people at once to remember

I can see your point on not bothering to flyer elderly like maybe 55+? but any stock cougar is worthy of your effort, neco has more stock cougars than modded and we all started out stock and it probably took joining neco to get a lot interested in modding...and the age thing, neco has several members over 40...so I'm not sure what you refer to as hold but the average age span is probably 20 - 40 years of age for neco members... :)
just wanted to mention that in case I might be able to change your mind in case you were not flyering a cougar based on stock alone or based on someone over 30 but younger than 50something :) Older people are the ones usually with the best modded cars from the 50's, etc... :)
