there is this song i am trying to find, and i think it is by a canadian band....i don't remember much, except that i heard it a lot during my university days...all i remember are a few lyrics going something like: "you'll have to excuse me, i'm not at my best, i've been drunk for a week, and blah blah blah"
someone must know either the name of the song or the artist...any help would be appreciated...

I think its called Drunk for a week and its by Spirit of the West.

um.....trying to decide on a song for the cd in team neco Ajay.....or just drunk again.....j/k

nah, just trying to come up with some more tunes for saturday nights...we DJ at this bar every week, and some people were requesting that kind of stuff...

Actually, I can really help out here. I was in engineering at the U of Windsor with Josh ( Mcon99 ) and it was our engineering theme song.
It's called "Home for a Rest" by Great Big Sea ( not Spirit of the West as most people think.. don't know where that came from )
I have the MP3, I actually listened to it this morning coincidentally.

i know man, i should be ashamed of myself....but, in my defense (and in the true spirit of the song), i was always drunk whenever i heard this song, making it hard to remember the name of it :tongue:

LOL I agree with Ajay. Its hard to remember anything when you're drunk, let alone SEVEN whole words. :biggrin: Thats a fun song :)
