i *think* it may be causing vibration on the left side of my car i hear it but the speaker seems tight enough to me, but when i got it installed they apparently didnt feel like drilling a hole for a screw for the 4th hold down for the speaker which kinda pisses me off.i cant get the side panel off completely and i dont wanna try and break soemthing, but before i even try to would that be causing any vibration back there? its only one screen thats not there so i dunno if it could. they also left out a few screws that were holding down paneling and stuff, and the carpet in my trunk isnt tight anymore i can see where it used to be clamped down by paneling when it came form the dealership i dunno why they wouldnt put that back but o well. i went to Car Toys to get this done and i dont recomend going there cause they broke the zipper to my back seat and failed to tell me but i got them to fix it, then like 2 weeks after i got it installed i accelerated and my whole stereo popped out of its mounting down onto my hand while i was shifting. anyway the main questions is about if the one screw not being there could cause vibration from there.

It definitely could if the other three aren't screwed in very tight, but if the other three screws are in pretty good, I doubt it. But from your description of the rest of the install, I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the speaker is just kind of hanging. You may want to think about putting some dynomat or a similar product behind the speaker if it's rattling against the metal. If it were my car, I'd take it straight back there and tell them that they can either fix it along with the rest of the mistakes, or they can pay the bill you get from another shop to fix it. Either way, the job they did on your car is unacceptable. And I wouldn't leave them alone until everything is back to the way it should be. My main goal as an installer is to have the car leave just like it came in. This means that no one should even know I was working on it accept for the new equipment I put in. There shouldn't be any exposed wires, no loose carpeting, not loose equipment, etc... They just did a half ass job on your car, and they probably know it. So if you take it back there, they should be able to fix it.

If you still have any of your receipts, check those for any warranty info. A lot of shops offer a lifetime warranty on the labor, so if you still have the receipt for the install, you can just show it to them and ask to get it fixed.
