I left school today at about 9:15 pm. I went south on evergreen to merge onto southfield north. Waiting for my light to turn green so I could merge on to E. Mich Ave, I heard screetching behind me. This older car swerved to avoid hitting me, and hit the car to my right (about 1 car in front of me too). The car that was hit was a newer 4 door focus. Trunk popped, bumper hung, and the rear glass was shattered. Whole rear end was curled up basically. The focus driver got out of the car, and guess what the person who hit them did? BACKED UP AND DROVE DOWN MICHIGAN! Well, this all happened while the light was red. Traffic cleared and I cut in front of the broken down focus and chased the car (turbo 92ish probe) westbound Mich ave. We were going about 60 when we turned down some side roads. To make a long story short, I was on my cell phone with the police and just as we pulled into the ford field (cougarfest parking lot), 2 squad cars were behind me and nabbed the son of a *****. Got a huge thanks from the cops and the focus owner. I felt like I was playing Grand theft auto III down Mich ave.
