If you see this post, please respond. I read your response to a previous post on Cold Air Induction. I am looking into making a Viper Intake fit my car here in the states, I would like to know some details on how you did it, and what you needed. Also, did you buy a Mondeo kit completely, or bits and pieces of another kit. You can also email me at cjschook@optonline.net.
Thanks

Hi,

Sorry I have not replied earlier...been a bit busy. A little story first. Apparently Pipercross made a Viper kit for the Mondeo V6 but got the measurements a bit wrong.....the bit from the AFM to the filter body was far too long...so all the UK dealers kept saying it was still in development.

Eventually rang Pipercross and they said they would chop a few centimeters off and send me the kit on a return if it didn`t fit basis.
Seemed fair to me so decided to give it a go.....and hey presto it fitted no problem.

The kit comes with all the necessary fitting parts though the brown cold ar pipe shown in the photo is some I used from an earlier project. Pipercross supply that convoluted stuff made of tin foil.

Just rip off the old air cleaner..pull out the air feed to the inner wing....fit the kit together and push the cold feed pipe through hole in the inner wing. The air intake temp probe pushes into a rubber offtake and I sealed it in with black silicone.

Hope the above is of some help.

The chap I spoke to at Pipercross is Paul who I`m sure will be pleased to help if you mention the Cougar kit he supplied.

Phone numbers and E mail are at www.pipercross.com

Regards Andrew

PS Don`t forget ANYTHING in the UK is bloody expensive!!!
