HELP please with LIM...

Well I have to get new tires, and don't want to drive the car til I do...cause they are pretty bad, so while the car is parked, I thought I'd clean the UIM and LIM. I got the UIM off pretty easily, and it's soaking now.....but the LIM is well.....I don't know how to get that off......I Think I need to unbolt the fuel rail from the LIM then take out the Injectors, then unbolt the LIM....I"ll attatch some pics.....

hard to believe I just cleaned teh UIM about 10 monthes ago...couldn't get those dang lowers off then either...

1. remove fuel injector wiring harnesses
2. relieve pressure in fuel line using shrader valve and a rag
3. disocnnect fuel rail from fuel line (either using special tool or with the two bolts on the connection flange)
4. remove fuel rail
5. remove injectors that didn't pull out with fuel rail
6. unbolt LIM

removed all the lim and fuel rail screws with a 10mm socket. then you will have to remove the injectors. Make sure you remove the Left to right. and have a towel to catch the fuel as it spills out of the fuel rail.

once the injectores are out the fuel rail will slide out to the right.

now that you mention it I have never been able to remove the injectors or the rail from the LIM. I have a spare setup in my basement and Ive pulled and twisted and no luck. They just pull out? Because of the angles they dont really pull out with the others in on the other side...Idunno. Help?

yes the injectors will pull out. there a bitc* to remove/install though.
