Tennessee Speed will be renting Beech Bend raceway in Bowling Green, KY on April 19th for as many runs as you want. Plus some competetion also will be into play. I will post the thread that was posted in their website below for more information.

Let me know if anyone here plans on attending or not. Looking like $20 entry fee.

Alright, folks. It has been a long time coming, but we are in the process of trying to rent Beech Bend raceway for an upcoming Tennesspeed gathering.

I spoke with the folks at Beech Bend earlier today, and they will be getting back with me regarding an available time frame and the associated costs. Right now, we are looking at a Saturday in April, but that depends on what is available.

Hopefully, we will be able to get some of the local speed vendors to donate some prizes and stuff to give out, but we are looking for some suggestions on what kind of format you would like to see.

Personally, I would like to see something similar to Corral Day where you can run as any times as you want during the day and then have some specific things such as:

Burnout contest
Fastest time on street tires
Grudge matches
Fastest trap speed

C'mon all, here is your chance to weigh in

Grrrr 13.6 was my best. Feel like I should have been lower but oh well. Need more practice. I never could get any good traction at the start of the track :(

Yeah, I read on TNSpeed that track conditions were not optimal. 13.6 is decent for an automatic. You did get an automatic, didn't you? A friend of mine has a mtx Cam SS that ran upper-mid to high 13's all last summer. Now that he learned to drive it, he rolls low 13's.

Yea it's an auto :) I'm not complaining really though. I had a blast up there. Put in 22 runs total :) Lowest was 14.99 because my @ss fishtailed around.
