View Full Version : Opinions on exhaust?

I currently have a straight thru exhaust(cant decide on muffler). Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I want a fairly deep loud sound just a little more controlled than what i currently have. I'll try to post sound clips later tonight.

his exhaust is very loud especially when sitting in the back seat. you cant hear what anyone in the car is saying. and i could hear it over my stereo while following him up the interstate(that was when he was getting on it pretty good though).

Depends on what ya mean by deep....if you're looking for something that'll rattle your teeth, flowmasters are always lovely (what i have right now and cant wait to give away)
Personally...i think dynomax/borla are the nicest sounding mullers...

i removed teh resonator and cat and have just striaght 2 1/2 inch piping with a Vibrant muffler on mine...it sounds nice and deep but when i really get on it you can only hear my intake...it doens't sound loud and whiny whatsoever....i love it.....i messed with my exhuast a number of times before i got it like i wanted it....

yeah the flowmasters arent all that bad unless you're on a long ride....after about an hour or two you feel like your head is gonna blow up....the 7hour ride to cougarfest was hell
