Well, I'm about halfway done now, but here's some pics of start to healfway so far of my headlight mods.
Within a week I should have them complete and back on the car!
I need opinions now... Once I am finished and need to put them back together I do NOT want to have to open them up ever again. Can someone who has SUCCESSFULLY opened and closed their headlights give me suggestions on the best way to prevent condensation in the headlights?
Some have suggested hair dryers / resealing / don't seal them... I need a concensus from successful cases.
BTW, Pierre, you suggested not to reseal them that yours are fine, well, they've been fogged up for a few days now on my car so I don't think that's the solution

Nope! People will just have to wait till CanAm to see the other mod.
I want to go for shock value!
Thanks for the compliment though Dan

Looks good man. To seal them up just use some silicone sealant, but be sure to remove all the sealant and goo before you reseal them. Its been 1 1/2 years since I cracked mine open to paint and haven't had any problems.

Housecat.... your question is confusing... didn't you look at the link to the photos? You can't figure out what I'm modding?
Check again later tonight and you'll see more of a near final set of pictures of the headlights almost completed.

i've popped open a few in the last year,
my headlights i used no aditional goop, just whatever was left, they fogged the first night, after that they have been fine since,
rasta's we removed all origional goop and applied form-a-gasket, one side gets condensation when he goes for underbody washes
aslong as you really really really goop up that once clip area, you should be good, the rest is pretty much naturally enclosed.

No, no, I mean, quite obviously you have disassembled the headlights. What I don't understans is, what are "angel eyes"???

Well I already have switches and buttons on my remote for my car to turn on my interior lights and exterior lights plus my "cop car" lights and sequential taillights. I am simply adding these to the exterior lights wiring that already exists.
I am nearly complete now!!!
Check out the link again for near completion pics!

Ron......in all honesty....you might wanna skip the headlight covers and leave your headlights like that.......that looks sweet. I'm definately going to check those out in a few weeks.
