so i went to the local street races and guess what

every saturday all the local street racing punks gather down in this industrial zone so we can race 1/4 mile races. any and all cars are welcome and no money is involved, but anyways. my friend, who drives an eclipse gsx (which is modded all to hell btw), races this other guy who has a 03 saleen mustang, which he just bought last week. they race and the eclipse wins, of course, and as the cars come to slow down the mustang locked up his brakes and went in a huge ditch. the front bumper immediately flew off the car, it literally bent the car like a banana, and the engine sucked up a ton of water that was in the ditch. the guy was okay, and actually thought it was funny. i thought it was really funny how some rich 16 year old's parents buy him a brand new saleen mustang, and he totals it out the next week, and i'm sure the bastards parents will buy him another one this week.

oh, and i thought it was really funny how the new people to the races down there had absolutely no idea what kind of car i drive.

just figured i would tell you guys how my night went.

I had a funny incident with mustang this morning. First off he had GTR badges all over the car along with Cobra and GT next to each other...Well its the usual, some kid yelling at me( cant hear anything ouside due to system up half crank)"hey wanna race?" I looked at the must-thing and told him "Not worthy of racing a peice of **** like yours". Kid gets all pissed off smokes his tires and spins round a corner, on to the curb, and into a truck...haahaaa...well whatever it was under his hood did actually sound good, but not any more. My car isnt good for racing anyways, bad fuel pump, shot cat.conv. and 200 pounds extra weight in the trunk....slow and fat.

the car was totally awesome looking, it was white and had all black graphics, with white interior. everybody was like "OH MY GOD!!" and people were just freaking out. meanwhile, i was laughing my butt off. poor stang

GTR badges. . . I'm assumeing he was doing the 2000 Cobra R conversion as they had the GTR badges but was only on the Back. Sides has the Cobra Snake badge. If he was serious about doing the cobra R conversion including engine mods then he probably would have blown you away. However since he slammed into a truck, I doubt he will be racing again anytime soon. . . . poor stang hehe.


And as for the Saleen. . . . . :cry: :disgust: :poke: Wished I was that kids father. . punk would be getting a good ole fashioned @ss kicking when he got home!

Hmm I'm actually wrong. The 00 Cobra R has the SVT GTR badge. Rather than just GTR from fords website.

Although I've seen some conversions done on MM&FF where they used the GTR badge and it does border ricedom, but if it has the HP and TQ to back it up, well :)

well i would really say it was tame..... but yes, i did take my car out. i was next in line to race whenever the wreck happened. i was gonna race a 95 civic. he had some stuff done to it (intake, exhaust, cam gears, short throw shifter, and lots of carbon fiber). but i know i can take him, so i wanted to race him (plus, i really like his girlfriend, so i was thinking that if i beat him that maybe she would look at me differently:rolleyes;). but anyways, this is THE one time that i didn't take my camera with me to the races, however, there was other cameras there at the time, whether any of the other cameras caught the wreck is unknown, but if any of them did, i'll copy the tape and post it for all to see and cry over. oh ya, wish me luck friday night at the races, i'm gonna get that damn civic lol.

i think the cobra was going for around 38,000 so the saleen might have been up there. thats frickin insane i would have beat that kid for laughing at the whole thing.

how much hp does this eclipse have? those mustangs have close to 400 hp stock.

with simple boltons an eclipse GSX even with AWD weighs 300lbs less and will push at least 300hp with the stock turbo. The mustang doesnt stand a chance. Especially if that eclipse is built right.

the eclipse was dynoed at a lil over 500 hp :hitit: i'll take pics of it this weekend for you guys.

btw: it has a lil over 25,000 bucks just in the engine. that's insane.

Dude I have that DVD too. The mustang dude has 6cyl rims on it with fake looking dual exhaust and a cheap
GTR badge. The camera man goes up to him and says

Cameraman: so is GTR a special edition?
Guy: yeah it's a 2000
Cameraman: is it fast?
Guy: yeah it has a Turbo charger
cameraman: what kind of intercooler
Guy: uggggggggghhhhh....ummmm I think it came with it...
