if any of you find a 3.0l engine to swap into my cougar let me know. i want to get this done badly but cannot find a 3.0 to swap in.

there are places online to order new or slightly used ones from for under like $1000 shipped. check in the 3.0 section of the forums.. i think a few places are mentioned but i'm not sure.

i found one. it was a 1999 Mercury Sable 3.0L 6cyl DOHC
i emailed them they are in New Mexico they want like 250 for it.

well i want a 3.0L upgrade thats not gonna put a large dent in my wallet.
i want to pay around 250 for the motor. the SHO blocks you get when i tear it apart will i have to buy replacement pieces?

You can't put a SHO motor in a Cougar.

if you go to Cougarboi's link, you shoul find plenty of the regionally and in PA for under 1000. for 250, well, good luck. :)
