I figured maybe I could bring this up again since it's been awhile... Are we/you guys ever going to get a logo going for TCC?

I talked to JScullin a long time ago when he was offering to do freelance graphic work about designing a logo. Anyone who has been on NECO for a while knows that he is kick ass with photoshop. He wasn't asking for much money, but i wasn't willing to fork it out on my own unless people were willing to go along with the idea. And seeing as how we get very little agreement about anything on here, i just dropped the idea altogether, although i still think thats the way to go if we want to get a professionally designed logo that you can make shirts/stickers out of.

Both Mike and I want a logo.....I suggested one thing. A knock off of one of the try-outs for CF but Mike didnt like it.
I just want something kinda simple and small to put on the of my car. And I want it on before I got to Cougarfest.

If you lay out some guidelines maybe we can get raj patel to make it (he is a graphic artist)

i'm just wondering whether or not people think this is something we should do democratically, or something that should be left to mike's discretion.

why not have a little mini-contest and let there be a few judges (this should prevent any mutanies against mike if he chooses one that not everyone likes).
A design contest is a GREAT idea. :)
Lets get some ideas together, and then have some people design them. Once thats done, i'll start a poll so everyone can decide on the best one.

I think it was designed before but the one that I liked showed the Skydome and CN Tower skyline with the Cougar head in the background. I thought that was pretty cool.

I just drew this up real quick... none of the edges are smoothed.. but is this sortof the idea people want... except done by a real g-artist?

Now, lets get some more designs, then we'll have a vote, and we'll decide on a winner.

Wow, I really like that Ken. Thats something I'd like to put on my car.
I'd have to say Ken's second logo deisgn is pretty much what we're looking for. Right now, its the one to beat. ;)

This isn't exactly good for a logo but I thought it would really cool if you could take the attached picture and do a Batman signla in the air but have it be a Cougar head logo. Too bad I suck at photoshop.
