Febuary 10th from 5:30 to 10 pm. For my nice 54 in a 35. It was great getting the ticket but i think the class might be even more fun:banghead::cry:. It's my own fault i know but it sucks, i thought about running because i passed the police officer head on but i didn't.

see, what you do when you pass the cop head on is to make the very next right turn that pops up, then lose him in the maze of streets, and/or park in a driveway or parking lot

have fun at traffic school

I have done that before but i wasn't in an area with many side streets, it was either run in a straight line very very fast to find such a place or just drive at a normal speed until he caught me.

I had to go last december. Our instructor didn't want to be there either. He let us go an hour early, maybe you will get as lucky.

I did traffic school when I first got my license years ago....2 tickets in the course of a year and you had to take it. I have to admit, it was a load of fun. A pretty cool state trooper taught it, and was actually a honest guy when it came to alot of things. (I have a bunch of freinds who are now cops, and back up what he says in terms of thinking).

In any event, funny story related to it. I had to go to the class in a school in another town that was maybe 20 minutes from my house. I was not familiar with the area, and these were pre-mapquest days and got myself a little lost. Trying to make up for time, I actually managed to get pulled over going to the class. The cop who stopped me saw the humor in the situation, but wrote a ticket regardless. (he was cool enough to show me the way to the school though).

Best part about it is this. After you took the class, if you got another moving violation in 6 months(maybe a year) you would have your license suspended. Since I got my ticket BEFORE the class, it did not apply to me. :)

If its anything what I went to, listen up. It was not really a scared straight type of thing where they showed you grizzly pictures. The point they drove home the most were the financial dangers you faced from driving like an ass (not saying you do), and the fact that you will get caught.

that's what suxx about having a cosmetically modded car....especially a car as semi-rare as the coug........u think u could get away, but with a good eye u can spot one a half mile away......my freind tried to go into a neihgborhood, but he got caught....soemtimes it works sometimes it doesn't...

My friend's dad is a driving instructor for the state of MD, whenever we have to take those stupid classes, he just signs the paper and were on our way. Its good to have hook-ups in those kind of situations.;)

You will never outrun a cop in a car (especially if he wants you bad). Me my my buddies tear the road up in the summer on our bikes and the cops do not even try, when their lights go on and we drop gears, they automatically turn them off cause there is no chance of catching us at 240km/h+. I would never even consider running from the cops in the fastest car possible, they will catch u. Love the summer, can't wait!

How often do they let you do that? Here you only have that option every 3 years?

I've only had it once, so I'm not too positive.
Ruffian all they have to do is get a chopper to chase you.

:hitit:

Judge threw out my only ticket, but from what I hear and what someone just said, pretty much it's a 4 hour marathon of world's wildest police chases :)

Damn that sucks.... I guesss you gotta know how to talk yourself out of those situations. This past summer i got pulled over for 74 in a 45.... I think i wowed the prosecutor with that story... Just was happy the cop didn't arrest me.... Wreckless speeding passing on the right.... Didn't pay a dime though....

Lol, you got away clean? Awesome... the prosecutors usually seem not out to get you, the one I had let me off and told the judge to.

Well here it is... I've been pulled over about a dozen times for various offenses. Iv'e gone to court 3 times i've never lost in court. I've recieved two written warnings and the rest verbal. Out of all 12 times i've payed a total of 50 bucks. It hasn't jus been in CT either. Mass/ Conn combined. Hey if you know what your doing you can beat anything.....

Not here, they do rarely take out the chopper and would not waste fuel on a speeder. The highway is the best since we can squeeze in the shoulder while giving the cop the bird as we pull away in rush hour traffic (and we have power antennas rigged to the license plate to lift it, that way the cop does not meet us at home).

I just learned that once you get denied, just find out the schedule of the DA's and go when a different one is there............prescription drugs don't hurt.
