ok so on the way to school this morning, there's this uphill street with a breakdown lane. in front of me is this "cute" little green 2003 Civic Si hb. as we turn onto said street, I figure I'd give it a shot and go for it. as I floored it (clutch was fully released, mind you), I had horrible traction problems, but to my pleasant surprise, no torque steer. still though, I managed only to pull even with him through 1st, and gain barely enough ground to merge in front of him in 2nd. at the next intersection, I fall in line to go straight, and he goes into the right turn lane. now I can see this guy through his side view mirror...he's this little wannabe thug guy, and he keeps giving me these glances like every freaking second. after a while, I couldn't contain myself from laughing. as much as I seemed to be enjoying myself, I was praying for the light to turn green already so he'll stop looking at me like that.
after what seemed like forever, the light finally turned and we went on our merry ways :)
