I purchased a visteon spoiler from PuckPuck and it looks like its 2 pieces put together. Can the spoiler be sanded to the point where it looks like one piece or will it start sanding into the spoiler and make holes. Tell me if this question makes sense from just that info.

i got my spoiler from puck also and it had a bunch of small pinholes in it basically but i just gave it to the body shop and they smoothed it out and painted it and it is fine. sorry but i cant tell you exactly what they did because i dont know but i know its smooth now.

Probably just flash from the mold (where to two sides of the mold come together and a little bit seaps out through the crack between them). You or the body shop should be able to sand it down with no problem to a smooth look and then paint it.

yeah for some reason... everything from the visteon kit is ready to paint but the spoilers... they need all to get prepped... i assume this is becaues it is the only piece not made of urethane (made of some other plastic i'm unsure of)....

definetely however you can sand it down and get it painted without worries... most body shops can do this and will only charge tops 1 hour of labour for it, although you can prolly do it yourself with a little time and patience (use 180 grit or higher sand paper)
