help a newbie??? (CF predator hood advice needed)

hey guys i'm lookin for a how to for the latch mod for the carbon fiber aerogear predator hood. i asked the customcougars.com guy but he said he didn't know of one. do any of you know what modification the latch would need? thanx a bazzillion!

The latch under the hood needs to be like sanded down a little and the latch on the car needs to be moved up i believe

i don't know anything about the hood, but you may get more replies if the title of the thread is "help a newbie with a predator hood" :shrug: you can edit the first post and make the title different .. just an idea :)

either that or post this topic in problems or how-to :shrug:

I've been thinking about this or another CF hood... question I have do they chip as easily as a stock hood or no? 1/2 of my entire hood is chipped to hell and turning white... will this show worse with a CF hood? or would be be non-existant? I think I will pass on fiberglass due to my OEM problems now.. I don't know what it is but Laser Red shows the chips worse than the majority of other colors out there.. INCLUDING black... :(

The C/F hood will not chip as easy if you have it properlly clear coated... I have yet to drive my car with the hood installed, however this is coming from customers who have the OEM Style.

Right now the hoods, I have 2 instock. They are brand new and won't last long. Once these are sold, the backorder will be 8 weeks
