So Im at a stoplight minding my own business, when two girls pull up in a 97-ish mustang. They look over to me and start to laugh...I was like wtf??? So then light turns green, and its on. They spin their tires, and take off, im in front, i hear them grind gears into third, and then i look out my mirror and what do I see??? A lil mustang in the center of the grass median....LOL...No wonder why everyone down here thinks chicks in Hot Ass Cars are dumb....

I dont know..i just looked back and they were sitting there...maybe lost control??? or too focused on shifting to watch where the hell she was going....

Some girls have hot cars and don't pull stupid stunts. ;) Doesn't sound like she knew how to drive stick.

Was it a V6 or GT? Just wondering, if GT I can see the torque spinning her around and looseing it.
Then again, she probably couldn't drive :)
She couldnt drive worth ****...but I never saw anything than the side and the front of it.....so i dont know what it was...didnt care cause I was too busy laughing at her..... I would have been so pissed if the nut-stane would have swiped me in the side...

lol yea Spruce I would too. I don't know how everyone elses AOD-E trannies worked on their cougars, but when I had mine, I always got the transaxle idiot light coming up on the trip computer on long trips, and causeing the tranny to shift exteremly hard and killing my speed. I would have to pull to the side of the road. Turn the car off. Wait 5 minutes. start her back up and she'll be fine for another 250 miles or so.
Just one of the many problems I had with the 99 model cougar. And so far with the Mustang I haven't had any trouble **knocking on wood**

Cougars came with CD4E trannies, so if yours came with an AOD-E, that's the trouble. ;) :cover:

that must be a normal problem for stangs... whenever i stoplight race .. they always grind third :shrug:
