Paint on our cars SUCK!

So i got mine maybe like less then 6 months ago... it has 26000 miles on it (02)

my hood is covered in paint chips... or rather the hood has chipps all over the front...

i should take a pic...

it sucks...

but i see it as an excuise to get a Carbon Fiber hood and a body kit now hehehehe...

Paint does suck, I will agree with that...I bought mine last year and I told the dealer that i wanted the bumper resprayed...Well they covered everything with Touch-up paint....the color doesnt even match and it looks HORRIBLE. Ive got so many chips on my bumper im about to sand the whole thing and respray it myself...Maybe this is my excuse for my body kit...

No, the angles on our cars suck for paint chips, too many deflections from rocks. Don't follow people so closely and you won't have as many paint chips. ;)

I agree, the paint is very, very soft... I used a plastic scraper to pry the mercury emblem off the trunk and it still put a small chip in it. I was also smoothing out my 3rd brake light cover with a credit card and was forming it around the edge and the credit card chiped the paint as well. I've been doing my best to stay away from others while driving. dosen't always help with the sand they lay down here for ice. Got a chip in the whidshield yesterday. nOt even a month old and I have to have it repaired/replaced grrrrrr

I have a question for you...now that i think about it.....

I got a nasty scratch...........like to the primer on the exterior passenger side pillar.....Would you be able to paint that??.......or?...........

Well, i have more scratches than that, but...the one mentioned ^^ is the worse.........

I also have the mirror?........if you were wanting to buy it.....

Well, I want it painted right.....cuz there's some minor scratches around it.......so like totally repainted i guess.........I was just wondering if u could do it.....cuz the dealer would prolly be pretty pricey........


Whatchu need the mirror for??........It's kinda broken from where it attaches to the car.....

Im itching to know whatchu need it for......teeeelll meeeeee........or else! lol ;)
