Am looking to buy some 18's this week, what would you go for?

I personally think that the Team Dynamics are the ones which will suit the car the best as it is, what you need to consider tho is are you going to kit the car or not?

They're all very similar in price Tim,

BK 299's in Silver with tyres/wheelnuts/delivery = £850

BK 239'S in Silver " " " " = £900

Mangels Amazon " " " " = approx £980

Team dynamics Motorsport " " = approx £950

I have the BK Racing 299's on mine. You can see them on my profile (Andy T) so obviously I am going to recommend these!
If anyone is interested I have a set of 18" OZ Superleggeras for sale. Looking for around £450 for them as 1 needs a new tyre.

Yeah Andy, I thought you had 19 inch BK 299's...but your profile hasn't been updated?

Where did you get your wheels, are they the hyper black ones, any problems with rubbing etc etc?

I've also got H + R springs, so my set-up would be identical.

Cheers....

:confused:Sorry if this is a daft question. If you have bigger wheels and then get a flat, isn't there a danger that the spare will cause a big imbalance in handling of the car?

Nard,

The trick is normally not to use the spare.

I will be buying an aerosol puncture repair kit.

I could get away with it if I was to drive very slowly, for example, the 18 inch tyre has only a 15mm bigger diameter than the standard 16 inch tyre. This would be no different to driving with a tyre which is not fully inflated.

Hi guys, let me clear up the situation. Basically if you have room for a spare tyre then obviously you haven't got enough toys in the boot so that sorts that problem. As far as my wheels go, yes I do have the 19" 299's and I know my profile hasn't been updated but i'm waiting to get some good shots of the car first!! Once the rain has passed I'll sort it out! For reference mine are the silver ones as I felt they compliment the car better. I used to have the grey OZ Superleggeras but i find the silver wheels stand out better. I got mine from RSR in Redhill in Surrey. (Speak to Brent and mention me!!!) Rubbing really doesn't happen unless there are 4 in the car of I take off over a bump! Cougarbloke, give me a call if you want any more info, contact numbers etc as my pc is playing up and i don't know when i'll be able to check my mail again. :banghead: My numer is 07968 314065 if anybody wants it.
Andy
