Waz up guys and gals? Just wanted to come over and say hey to everyone and see what was going on in the realm of the Cougar.
I see that you guys are planing a meet in the Birmingham area the first weekend of Feb., I really wish I could make it there. It would be a ton of fun, but another CEG'er with his SVT and I are planning on rebuilding our UIL/LIM that weekend. I also have the ST200/Roush kit to install.
We would love to start meeting with you guys/gals, because there is squat over here in MS. It is mainly us two over here and we sort of get sick of looking at each other.
Anyway, with everyones permission, I would love to check in here from time to time to see what you guys have going on. Maybe we can all work together and start getting some really cool meets happening.

Please feel free to stop in anytime. I was actually noticing a couple weeks ago that there aren't many people from Mississippi around these boards. I'm sure we would be more than happy to hook up with you guys since ya'll dont' have much to work with! Welcome to the Heart of Dixie NECO!

Thanks for the warm welcome Head!
I did a search throughout the NECO Forums before posting this and found absolutely ZERO hits for "Mississippi" or "MS". I know there are several Cougars in my area along with a few Contour SVT's that I am tring to round up. I feel sort of uncomfortable just walking up to people and going "HEY! Nice car!". But I will have to get out of that.
One idea that I have been throwing around with myself is looking into renting the parking lot at the Tupelo Furniture Market. I know the guy that owns the place, through work, and figured that he might help me out. The guy owns half of Tupelo, so he must have something that we could use. We would have to have a lot to show for that though.
I have registered with FocalJet, but have not heard anything back from them. Guess since I do not have a Focus they wont let me in. I can understand that. I think with there being so few of us around, it would take all three clubs meeting together to have anything of scale.
Look forward to hooking up with you guys one day.

Thanks a lot guys! I will be keeping an eye over here more often and see what you guys and gals are up to. A few of us will be getting together next month sometime and do some things to our cars, sort of a small mod meet, and we will be taking some pics of course. I will send you a few. I don't think it would be right for me to send a ton of pics to be posted on a Cougar site. That would be *****ing and I am not for all that.
By the way, I checked your site. Really nice. I have to get off my bumm and do something for us.
Did you do your sig pic yourself, with the Cougar logo? Really sweet! I have played around with Blender for several months and then got my Mystique. My 3D graphics days have been downhill from there!! LOL!

Yeah I made the logo for my picture. I used Solid Edge to build the 3D model, then I used Vellum to render it, and I the did a lens flare with Photoshop.
As far as sending the pictures that will be fine, I will probably create a sectioin on the website for you guys, so that way if you don't want to look at all the cougar stuff you can jump straight through it.

Hey, I live in MS.
Granted, I don't think my profile says that, nor do I own a Cougar, nor have I even posted on this site in probaly 10 months, but hey, us NECO MS members do exist:lol:
Anyways, It would be kind of cool, I know ther are a good number of Birmingham 3G'ers, and they try to meet regularly, but with the small number of people, maybe sometime int he future we could think about a big multi-club meet ( I know there are a number RSX people form www.ClubRSX.com in B'ham)
