First off, hello and welcome to NorCal NECO (The best NECO chapter of them all :biggrin: )
If you are visiting from another forum, Welcome, but please Refer to the rules of the NorCal NECO forum at the very bottom of this post, as the rest of the information may not apply to you :)
If you are a new member, or are just moving to the Northern California Area, you get a special Welcome ;) If you haven’t done so already, here’s how you “Join” NorCal NECO:
For now, just Post the following Information here in this thread. (We will eventually have a more sophisticated method of joining, but for now this will have to do)
-Name
-Email address
-Model Year
-Color
-Engine [V6 or I4]
-Transmission [ATX or MTX]
-City
-How you found us
We will eventually have an official registry on the NorCal NECO website www.norcalneco.com, but for now, just post your info in this thread, and it will get added to the list.
-We have monthly meets on the First Sunday of every month at the TGI Fridays in Union City off of Dyer Road. (here is a mapquest link to the location if you need to get directions) (http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&addtohistory=&address=31900+Dyer+St.&city=union+city&state=ca&zipcode=&homesubmit=Get+Map) Make sure you check the Forums the week before the meet though, as occasionally we will change the location to make things easier for members that are further North than most of us :)
-Here in NorCal NECO we are all friends, and practically family, and such being the case, we joke around with each other quite frequently. Now as an outsider looking in, we may occasionally seem to be fighting, and saying mean things to each other, but be assured that it is all in fun. We do all know each other, but we are not an exclusive club, and we welcome every new member, especially because the more members we have, the easier it is to ignore Vizual (Now this is just an example of the kidding around I was talking about, Vizual and I are good friends, and can joke around with each other in this manner;) )
-Vizual and I are both the moderators for this particular forum, so if you ever have any issues with things that people have posted, or said, DO NOT HESITATE to contact one of us through PM or Email to alert us to the problem, as we are here to serve the NorCal NECO community.
-NorCalCoug is like our own little treasure trove of information, and our unofficial greeter, so you can always PM him as well with any questions, as he is the one organizing the member list, and planning a majority of this summer’s coming West Coast Prowl event in Las Vegas.

Also make sure to check out the SoCal NECO forums as well, since we occasionally have joint meets with them, and who knows, they may be geographically closer to you than we are.
We understand how it may be intimidating to post in a message board forum, (we were all newbie’s at one point or another, so we know what it is like), so just sit back, relax, and post away.

1. Have fun posting in this forum, we consider ourselves a pretty laid back group, and are here to have fun while furthering the Car Modifying lifestyle, so feel free to join in.
2. If you came in to the NorCal NECO forum to start flaming our members, expect to get a strike for it:disgust: We do not come into your homes and attack you, so we expect the same treatment. This counts as a warning:)
3. Refer to rule 2 for emphasis ;) But consider this your second warning
