I live in, as my little under the avatar thing says, Downers Grove. For all of you who don't know, that's between Naperville, Hinsdale, Oakbrook, Wesmont, Lisle, Lemont, Lombard.... that area. I'm looking for a shop that will be able to do stuff like install headers, when I get them, and a torque converter, ontop of anything else I find that's a little to hard to do myself. If anyone knows a good place, please let me know. Thanks.

not sure of a place.... however... I assume you have a duratec and I helped another contour owner "try" and install the MSDS headers on his car what a PITA.... we were able to get the front one off and the new on but couldn't get the back one off air tools were needed... so he took it to a place in naperville they still charged his as if they were doing both... IIRC it was about $400 for the work, I'm just not sure of the name of the place

I could get air tools for a day, and possibly a place to work if my friend annoys his dad long enough. That is, his dad is a top mechanic at D&M Corvette (the huge 'vette place on Ogden, rt 34). Worst comes to worst, $400 isn't all too insane.
