Aight so the deal is I bought a Kicker L5 12" sub last week and I'm looking for an amp to push it. The sub has a 4 ohm DVC so I figured I'd wire it in parallel to end up at a 2 ohm load. The sub is rated at 600W RMS so I found an Audiobahn sub that runs 560W x 1 at 2 ohms and a Kicker amp that runs 600W x1 at 2 ohms. I'm just asking if anyone has any horror stories about either one of these companies or any praises of either one

i have nothin but love for my audiobahn amp. bought it off ebay mid summer and haven't had a problem since. other than the fact that i am an idiot and leave the amp on all the time since my remote wire is hooked up to the wrong lead. but i can't really blaim the amp for that now can i.

I have a Kicker KX500.2 amp pushing a 12" Kicker CompVR sub. I think kicker amps are very powerful, and I may blow out my sub one day cuz its RMS is 400W. I could definitely push another 12" with this amp, and would highly recommend any of Kicker's products. My setup sounds great though and I get a lot of compliments, cuz with one sub, it doesnt drown out the highs. You get the highs, and the bass just accents it. It sounds really good.

I suggest you go with Kicker and the higher RMS.

I've got the kicker kx600.1 amp and love it. They are very underrated (mine is 789). Bought it for $280 online

i love audiobahn to the fullest, but since u already have a kicker sub, the kicker amp is ur best bet. since companies test their subs with their amps, they're tuned for the best sound from them.
