Taillight question

My girlfriend backed my cougar up against another car, and as a result I have one messed up taillight. Luckily just the taillight was damaged.
Does anyone know where I can purchase just one taillight (US taillight)?
All places I find online only sale them as a pair.
Their both painted, so it would be an extra bonus if I can find just one painted black, but I think Im pushing my luck with that one. heh
Ok, anyone have any ideas, or should I just purchase the Euro lights, since they are cheaper than the US, and supposedly look better... and if I do, should I paint them?

just keep an eye out for that one tail light on ebay. i see them from time to time on there, only place i can think of to get just one.

What year Cougar do you have? I have a set of 2001 taillights in my garage.

I have a set in my garage. Unfornately I need them. I found my extra pair on line at junk yards. I could have bought them individually, but needed the pair. I got them shipped to me for less than $100 total. No scuffs or scratches, just a little dusty.

Two options:

1. Right now eBay has three different auctions with separate taillights for our cars. All around 40 bucks.

2. Order the Euros from tdford for 130 bucks... they come ready to plug and play.

You can order just one form fordpartsonline.com. I ordered one from there when I smashed my one taillight.

like the others said, keep checking ebay. i just got a an extra set for 50 bucks

I would say PM tdford. You get two brand new euro taillights and for 130 shipped. I dont know about Ford Parts online but I would bet one tail wouldnt be much cheaper than that! As for ebay you can probally find one there for cheap!!

I think this is the perfect opportunity to get the euros from tdford. But. if you don't wanna get those, just go with keeping an eye out on ebay.
