My SVR80 is to big to fit under the hood without modification...I had it in the hatch, but I wanna put a gel cell under the hood and run 2 to 4 Batcap 800's in the hatch. I'm thinking a SVR50 will fit...but need to get dimensions to make sure.

I have an Optima blue top under mine. It fit ok as long as the battery sit far back and you have terminal covers after the initial install.
I'll see if I can get pics for you.

Optima red top sits under my hood with no problems...just had to extend the battery cables to compensate for the reversed terminal locations.
